Tour Guide Training - Asakusa

Workshops to give you the foundations you need to be a 5 star-rated guide!

OVERVIEW & PURPOSE

This course program is divided up in multiple 2-hour workshops given on a weekly basis. Each workshop focuses on a portion of a typical tour itinerary of the unique Asakusa area including but not limited to the Sensoji Temple area, Rokku area and general cultural information such as Buddhism and Shintoism. Take as many workshops as you like whenever you like and learn what interests you! Each workshop will include tour guiding guidelines and responsibilities essential to a tour guide’s work. Take charge of your schedule and give tours during your free time!

This bilingual course is for English-speaking and Japanese-speaking foreigners looking to give independent tours of the Asakusa area or improve tours they already give. You do NOT need to be a certified tour guide to take these workshops. Choose the workshops that interest you so you can get paid to share your interests with visitors and fellow nationals!
